GOALS AND OBJECTIVES

The primary focus of many other national and international organizations is on larger national issues. CASVSP aims to represent one unified statewide voice serving the diverse needs of professional supervised visitation service providers and multidisciplinary professionals for the State of California.

CASVSP goals and objectives are to address:

(1) State, regional, and localized needs and challenges regarding supervised visitation practice service delivery

(2) California legislative mandates

(3) Adherence to Standard 5.20 of the California Standards of Judicial Administration (Uniform Standards of Practice for Providers of Supervised Visitation)

CASVSP seeks to establish the first statewide organization that will monitor state standards of practice by professional supervised providers.

While no organization can provide certification for California-based supervised visitation providers at this time, CASVSP provides a certificate of attendance for each educational opportunity offered.
